The Forest Roads Scheme The Forest Roads Scheme provides funding for the construction of forest roads and associated infrastructure such as bellmouths, turntables, drains, culverts and bridges.

Grants of up to 100% of eligible costs are available subject to the maximum set out below and are paid in one single payment at First Instalment stage.

To qualify, 50% or greater of the forest area must be due to be harvested within the next three years.

A felling licence will be required prior to starting construction on your forest road.
